1. What You Are Consenting To
If you choose to opt in, WeTheGalaxy (“we,” “us,” “our”) will:
- Store and use your selected persona to personalize your daily letters; and
- Enable the reply feature and process/store the replies you write, so you can view them later across sessions/devices.
This consent is optional and separate from our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2. Why This Consent Is “Sensitive”
Depending on how you use the Service, persona-based personalization and replies may involve inferences that could be considered sensitive under certain U.S. state privacy laws (for example, religious/spiritual or health/wellbeing-related inferences).
We only perform this processing if you expressly opt in.
3. What Data Is Involved
If you opt in, we may process:
- Persona information: the persona you select during onboarding.
- In-app interactions related to personalization: signals needed to generate personalized letters (e.g., which persona you chose and related app actions).
- Replies (User Content): the text you write as replies to letters.
- Service and security data: technical logs and metadata needed to operate and protect the reply feature (e.g., timestamps, device/app data, security/abuse screening signals, backups).
